All Hen Fish must be returned to the water.

Although it is difficult to tell with fresh run fish, when in its breeding dress a Cock Salmon develops a large Kype on the bottom jaw and is more heavily coloured.

1) Space for 2 cars next to St Andrews small church at Upleatham on the B1268 road.

To reach the beck follow the footpath down the bank and through the field towards Skelton.

Fishery Rules:

1) Fishing is only permitted on a dusk til dawn basis.

2) The entrance gate to the lake lane, must be closed and locked after entry.

3) Noise must be kept to a respectable level at all times, with no loud music or shouting.

4) No drugs or excessive drinking.

5) There is a maximum of ten members fishing at one time

6) No carp to be kept in keepnets unless permission obtained.

7) No fires or camping.
